UK SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT
The UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the ‘Act’) requires a business to state the actions they have taken during the financial year to ensure modern slavery is not taking place in their operations and supply chains. INNOVATE is fully committed to playing our part in eradicating modern slavery. We advocate for transparency and collaboration to eliminate the risks of modern slavery and are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking
INNOVATE is a global provider of software engineering & consulting services. Headquartered in London, our group of companies operate centres in 7 countries, and partner across many industries to deliver full-lifecycle software development to businesses around the globe.
INNOVATE has evaluated our risks, and due to the nature of our business and skilled services we provide, and the nature of our suppliers we use to support our business, INNOVATE is at low risk in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking. INNOVATE provides services from highly-skilled, highly educated engineers and technology leaders globally to deliver quality services to our customers. The nature of our industry, and the importance of attracting and retaining key talent being critical to our business, make any risk of modern slavery or human trafficking in our business low.
Our anti-slavery and human trafficking measures
INNOVATE is committed to conducting business in a responsible and ethical manner. INNOVATE has a zero-tolerance approach to human trafficking and modern slavery. INNOVATE complies with all laws attendant to its business, and is committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business.
We have global policies and procedures for all group companies to ensure effective systems and controls are in place to prevent slavery and human trafficking from occurring in our business. Our Code of Conduct establishes principles for how we conduct our business, and encourages our employees to speak up and report any concerns they have, including in relation to any suspicion of slavery or human trafficking.
Our effectiveness in combating slavery and human trafficking
INNOVATE conducts internal audits from time to time, none of which have identified any slavery or human trafficking in any portion of the business, or supply chain.
INNOVATE continually reviews and evaluates our business practices and compliance, and we believe all efforts to date are effective in preventing slavery and human trafficking from our business and our supply chain.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 (1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement.
